About The Role
As an Occupational Therapist in the Specialist Services Team, you will support innovative, flexible, high-quality services for people with disabilities through the delivery of assessments, individualised recommendations, and ongoing therapeutic supports.

Duties include:
- Undertake comprehensive occupational therapy assessments and provide personalised recommendations for people with disability
- Complete and report on ergonomic assessments for people seeking to enter or return to work
- Deliver ongoing therapies to clients of all ages
- Prescribe and source assistive technology to enhance the independence of people with disability
- Complete reports focusing on capacity and well-being
- Provide professional information and guidance in relation to assessing and recommending home modifications
- Constructively promote Community Solutions’ clinical services and work collaboratively with colleagues in the wider clinical team
About You
- Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy
- AHPRA registration
- Minimum 1 year of Occupational Therapy experience
- Demonstrated high level knowledge and experience of contemporary practices, trends and philosophies in relation to service provision for people with disability
- Commitment to the inclusion, participation and rights or people with disability, mental ill-health and/or developmental delay
- Ability to undertake assessments and provide recommendation reports
- Understanding the role of the Quality and Safeguards Commission and the NDIS Practice Standards as they apply to Therapeutic Supports
- Ability to work within spreadsheet functions and electronic client management systems
- Ability to work in a flexible environment that at times involves innovative and agile approaches
- Task oriented, highly organised and with excellent time management capability
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong relationship building and interpersonal skills
